AfricArena Wired Speed Connect

AfricArena is excited to unveil its inaugural Wired Speed Connect event, a one-of-a-kind speed networking experience. 

This event will be hosted at the Roar Bistro & Bar Venue in Sandton, Johannesburg on April 24th, 2024, just a brief walk journey from the AVCA venue. 

Set against the charming backdrop of this rustic event venue, Wired Speed Connect will feature two dynamic speed networking sessions tailored to facilitate meaningful connections between: 

1. Limited Partners (LPs) and General Partners (GPs). 

2. General Partners (GPs) and startups. 

Join us for a first in a series of exclusive 1-on-1s with GPs. In the past, a great number of LPs and GPs that have met at AfricArena events have enabled relationships which led to access to funds (for example Launch Africa and etc). Top African fund managers are attending as GPs including E4E Africa, Holocene, UMP6, etc.

SCHEDULE:

- 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Guests arrive and mingle

- 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: LPs and GPs match-making session (4 mins chat & 1-min table switch)

- 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Break and setup switch

- 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM: GPs & Startups match-making session (4 mins chat & 1-min table switch)

- From 1:30 PM: Lunch & Networking
