AfricArena Tour 2025:
Powering Africa's Tech Ecosystem
IN SEARCH OF AFRICA'S BEST INNOVATORS
The AfricArena Tour is a series of pre-selections for the AfricArena Summit - where we scour the major capitals of the African continent in search of Africa's top tech startups that are shaking ground. The Tour is the curating mechanism that makes AfricArena effective in ensuring the very best startups are chosen for each Summit.
This year, AfricArena organized five hybrid events across four regions in Africa, building up to the annual AfricArena Summit in Cape Town. The Regional Events brought together startups, investors, and corporations operating in the region and across Africa. Between 20 and 30+ startups from Africa were selected to pitch at each Summit. These events acted as semi-final pitch sessions where over 40 startups were chosen to pitch at the Grand Summit in Cape Town in December 2026.
Over the full days, the in-person regional events hosted 40 pitching startups from african countries, along with international corporates and investors.
The Regional events consisted of the following three events:

VC Unconference, Founders Venture Retreat and the regional AfricArena Summit.
