VC unconference weekend
On the weekend leading up to AfricArena 2023 Grand Summit, the VC Unconference Weekend was held at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa provided informal engagement opportunities for an unfiltered exchange of innovative ideas around deal sourcing, execution, portfolio management and realisation.
This invitation-only initiative has four key objectives:
1. Mapping the ecosystem within the African technology ventures
2. Creating a standardized knowledge data room
3. Establishing investment best practice, systems and processes
4. Facilitating co-investment opportunities, deal syndication and ecosystem cohesion

The Founders BootCamp
A private workshop dedicated to selected startups from across the countries will be pitching at the AfricArena Summit.
It aims to create strong connections, peer-to-peer learning between the entrepreneurs, training and equipping startups with the necessary tools and knowledge to prepare them to showcase and effectively deliver high quality, concise and engaging pitches to the right audience.
